We have already worked with Professor Jan Słyk when we did the previous version of his portfolio. This time we were asked to update its content and adjust the layout so that it suits new purposes.
The challenging aspect of the project was to find an interesting graphic language that would not interfere with the architecture presented, and to create a coherent, readable and interesting publication at the same time. In order to achieve the goal we embedded the whole layout in a grid so that the varying projects and their elements could be shown in similar ways. We also applied a very technical, yet elegant, typeface – the immortal DIN. For each project we chose a leading color, which facilitates navigation within the portfolio.
